Now they know what colour to paint the nursery, and the producers of Keeping Up With The Kardashians now have storylines to plan with Kourtney Kardashian announcing that she's expecting a baby girl.

Kourtney broke the news on her Twitter account, with a link to an OK! Magazine cover that said the same thing (let's also presume they've struck a deal too).

She's due to give birth in May and it's possibly fair to say that Jessica Simpson is another celebrity having a girl after she was spotted buying pink baby clothes in LA boutiques. But you never know.

The question however remains - will she give her a name that starts with "K"?
