Our very own Hamish Blake had a few extra reasons to celebrate ringing in the New Year, he’s getting married! Hamish proposed to his girlfriend, author Zoe Foster, and after seeing the size of the rock she of course said yes.

“Highlight of 2011? Proposing to @zotheysay! Couldn't be happier. She LOVED the rock. And said yes by the way,” he Tweeted.

Andy was quick to offer his congratulations, Tweeting “Lucky you put the 'H' at the end of the tweet mate cause people may have thought it was from me. Love to ya both. A #megacongrats”
