Wondering what Amy Winehouse has been up to lately? Oh, same old: she's just announced she's heading to rehab, like that famous song of hers. Again.

Her rep has confirmed to People that she "has embarked on a treatment program at the Priory Clinic. She wants to be ready for performances in Europe this summer and decided to seek an assessment. She will remain at the Priory on doctors' advice."

Reportedly this rehab visit isn't a massive deal: but her Dad convinced her to go because he thought she was close to having a breakdown again.

"Her dad sat her down and said 'I think you're drinking too much again.' So she agreed to go an assessment to stop it becoming a bigger problem,” says a friend.

Ummm, we hate to sound all preachy 'n' stuff but aren't alcoholics y'know, not really supposed to drink AT ALL?

This “friend” also said that Amy had downed a mini-bottle of Smirnoff on the way to rehab, which also fills us with hope. Oh and before that she ran into a random hairdressers and vommed in their toilet. This sounds promising!
